R.I.P. Casey Calvert

Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert has died. We don't yet know the details. This is especially sad for me because when I saw Hawthorne Heights this summer at Warped Tour, I had the most fun watching Casey. He was all over the place - even jumped into the audience.

Even though this picture doesn't show his face, it is a most meaningful picture to me.

Avalon's Comments: Hawthorne Heights

Hawthorne Heights are an emocore band from Ohio, hence the song "Ohio Is For Lovers." They're good, and they've been around for awhile, with two albums out, The Silence In Black And White, and If Only You Were Lonely.

They appeared at the Nintendo Fusion Tour, and Warped Tour 05. From what I hear Hawthorne Heights are very good live, although I haven't seen them myself yet.
