The Maine - Can't Stop Won't Stop (Deluxe Edition)

The Maine have released a deluxe edition of their 2008 album Can't Stop Won't Stop on iTunes. In addtion to bonus tracks – including a cover of Def Leppard's “Pour Some Sugar On Me” – there is a 32-minute video call “The Maine – In Person.” The video has lots of stuff about The Maine from their beginnings plus live performances of the band in Canada.

“A few things I've been listening to a lot lately are The Maine's new record. It's really good.”

-- Alex Gaskarth, All Time Low – July 2008

Deaconlight Interviews The Maine – Again

In August 2008, Avalon and DD from Deaconlight interviewed Maine singer John O'Callaghan live on ErrorFM.com. We caught up with John, along with bandmates Pat Kirch and Garrett Nickelsen, at Warped Tour in Charlotte in summer 2008.

The Maine Band Launch New Social Web Site

The Maine have launched a new web site designed to make it easy for fans to interact with the band and with each other. “Basically it's kind of like a social networking site but just for our band,” says Maine drummer Pat Kirch. “You can log in and have your own profile and update your own pictures and talk to other fans. There's a message board and all that kind of stuff.”

The band members are active participants in the site. Kirch says “We're just trying to have fans connect with other fans from across the country and connect with us in a very personal way.”
