Deaconlight's dB's Audio Interviews from 1980-1981
I did several interviews with various members of the dB's over the years at WFDD (Deaconlight), WKZL (New Generation), and Z-93 (Try This). Unfortunately, I have lost most of those recordings. If you have any not listed here you would be willing to share, please contact me at dd@deaconlight.com.

Peter Holsapple and Gene Holder - 1980 Interview at WFDD
This was recorded in the studio and edited down for airplay. The first clip is the edited version I played back on Deaconlight. The second one is the raw tape which gets a little long and rambly. Unless you really have a lot of time on your hands, go for the short version.
Peter and Gene talk about history of the band and its members (as well as Mitch Easter), musical influences (Beatles, Big Star), their soon-to-be-released record "Stands for deciBels," Albion Records, The Cosmopolitans, playing in New York, college radio (WFDD and WXYC), future of the dB's, and Reynolds High School (long version only).
Chris Stamey, Peter Holsapple, and Will Rigby Co-host Deaconlight - 1981 Interview
Will, Peter, and Chris joined me "live on the air" in the WFDD control room during Deaconlight in 1981. I lost my copy but fortunately it was recorded off of the radio by Pat Richardson, who is building a dB's site of his own. I will include a link to that site when he sends it to me.
This includes voice breaks only. Topics include band history (again), a lot of talk about local radio, their upcoming show at Friday's (we give away tickets), Mick Jagger, dB's future.
