Bono on Catwalk at Chapel Hill - 1983 War Tour

For some reason there was this big fence set up several yards away from the front of the stage. So the fans couldn't get too close to the band. There was a little walkway out front. As much as Bono seems to like to be in touch with his fans, I wonder if he found this setup frustrating. I mean, this is the guy that purposely fell backwards into the crowd at Red Rocks!
When Todd came on, despite the rain he jumped down to the ground and shook hands with the fans through the fence.
