Geez...how did I stumble on this site! Ain't technology wonderful. I went to bed every night when I was in high school (late 60's-early 70's) listening to Deaconlight Serenade. I loved the opening guitar licks from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's "Carry On." It meant I was in for a musical journey that has yet to be duplicated. I thought it was nostalgia on my part to miss the music of my day and the way it was presented. It's nice to know that others recognize good radio. I actually remember the station going to the big watts. Me and a buddy would go over to the station and be amazed at the album collection. The folks always treated us well (a couple of high school kids) and were willing to take time to discuss music with us even though we just dropped in. I lived within a mile of the campus and listened to WFDD until I moved away to college and when I returned to town, I renewed my listening habits.

Even though I'm 51, I still enjoy new music and it bothers me the way most radio is presented today. Come to think of it, most radio was lousy back then, too. We didn't realize how good we had it with Deaconlight.

Keep up the good work!
