Hi DD
Was checking out your site -- much thanks for posting the Peter Buck interview. I always thought he was great to listen to -- he always had great opinions of music (I liked the interview where he compared AOR music to cheez-whiz). The Brian Setzer interview was interesting - he always comes across a little too smug. I remember seeing the Stray Cats on "Friday's" in '81 and getting hooked (it seemed like they played four songs).
I was also reading your Kevn Kinney review -- that part of Greenwich Village is still the same way it's always been. The only part of the Village that has really changed is the St. Mark's area -- lots of Starbucks, a Gap, A K-Mart (they call it the "malling of the Village -- most of the eclectic shops gone in favor of the big corporation-backed stores). Thankfully, the rest of the area hasn't changed much.
Also loved your Devo LP write-up. I was planning on a NYC trip to see them this summer, but I just found out they are playing a festival in Cherokee, SC, in late August. I had seen them in 82/83 in NYC, and they were amazing!
Thanks again for the cool site,
Pat Richardson

ps not much progress with my NC-area tribute page. I've been putting out feelers for help from various sources, but the info has been slow.
pss I've seen two different references on your site recently for the Midnight Special with the Cars, the Records, Iggy Pop, Lene Lovich -- I had just dubbed a copy for a friend of the very show when I came across your postings--let me know if you want a copy -- it's still amazing years later.
