E-mail Received 7/19/2005 from Deaconglight DJ Gardner Campbell

Hey DD,

It was super-great talking to you tonight. You made me laugh and smile and feel really good about what I'd done at WFDD all those years ago. Radio has always had a special place in my heart, even though I eventually had to give it up so I could finish my graduate studies and get the doctorate. I miss radio a lot, and I remember those days at WFDD with a lump in my throat and love in my heart. You were a big part of what made WFDD what it was. I'm proud to know you and think what you're doing with Deaconlight.com is magnificent. Now that podcasting has me thinking radio again -- I'm speaking into a large condenser microphone again, even if it isn't a Neumann -- it's great to have the Hoffman Forum getting our communication lines going again.

I'm going to close now before I get all weepy. Thanks so much for calling me and for all the great work you're doing. Deaconlight lives!

Warmest regards,
Gardner
