Hey!

I just came across your website and saw the pics and audio clips from U2's Chapel Hill War Tour opener..and was blown away that you guys had this.. !!!!

I am a rabid U2 fan, seen them over 20 times and con't to do so today.. my whole obsession with collecting singles, posters, magazines, bootlegs, whatever all started because of this Chapel Hill show. Ironically, a good friend of mine's older brother was music director at WAKE Radio for years.. not at this time but a few years later he would start at Wake and had his own show, etc. Which was very popular.

At the time of this U2 show he was still in highschool I was in junior-highschool. His shows on Wake radio and this particular U2 show are literally the backbone of my music passion, which in turn has lead to a career in this industry as well. I still am very good friends with him, he will freak when he sees this as he was the one that told me about this show.

Isn't the internet amazing? It's amazing the things you find after so many years.. really.

I will make sure Devin knows about this site, I am sure he has all sorts of stories from his days at Wake.. which again were a huge influence on me when I was in highschool.. so even though I went to NC State I can appreciate this big time.

take care
