I remember the first time I heard this I was walking through store called "Brendles" and the RCA version was playing on a turntable. Even though I had only heard Ziggy Stardust at this point, I knew right away it was David Bowie. I ended up buying the Mercury version with the cartoon cover, but it was real scratchy and a line from "Width of a Circle" was clipped out. That made me wonder if it was a legit copy. My first rock and roll t-shirt that I bought from Reznick's was dark blue with the the RCA cover. I still have that t-shirt.
