This first record from Robert Palmer featured a lot of the members of Little Feat backing him up. So it's no surprise that the record starts with a Little Feat cover - "Sailing Shoes." My predecessors at Deaconlight played this record a lot, so I went out and bought a copy. Unfortunately, I had a cheapy stereo back then so the first few measures on side one are all scratchy. He's so young and cute on the cover of this record. He almost looks like a Durany on the back. It's hard to believe that we've lost him. |
