Ian Dury and the Blockheads - Do It Yourself Great lyrics and rhythm help Ian Dury and the Blockheads record Do It Yourself earn four quarter notes from DD - excellent record

Released 1979

Ian Dury was such a fun guy. This followup to New Boots and Panties is more disco-y than its predecessor but in a good way. This CD with extra tracks is extra cool because it also includes the classics "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick" and "Reasons to be Cheerful, Part 3." In fact, I might have to get this CD myself even though I have the record just to have not scratchy versions of those two songs, which I have around here somewhere on 45.
