This is a sleeper album from 1980 produced by King Crimson's Robert Fripp. It is a heavy/pop mix of avante-garde sound. Totally different from the early folk and later "blue-eyed soul" that came out of Hall's collaboration with John Oates. This recdord was particularly gratifying for me because I was an early-on Hall and Oates fan, but by the late 70s they had become too engrained in commercial radio to be cool. This record is cool.
