This was the record that helped put U2 on the US map. When it came out, I couldn't keep it off my turntable. It still sounds great even now. I don't think I could ever get tired of "Surrender." It's one of my all-time favorite songs. Check out my U2 audio interviews with Bono and the Edge along with pictures from the 1983 War concert at Chapel Hill.
With this record you can really tell how much Edge and Bono sound alike.
U2 - War: Deluxe Edition
The release date for the remastered Deluxe Editions of U2's War, Boy, and October have been moved to July 22. All are available on vinyl LP.
