Green Day's live album Awesome as Fuck, which features live performances from their 21st Century Breakdown tour, comes out March 22, 2011. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see this tour but having seen the American Idiot tour twice (Norfolk and Raleigh_, I feel safe in saying these new live tracks are packed with energy.

The audio comes from a variety of Green Day's concerts from around the world. The CD version is accompanied by a second disc (CD or Blu-ray) with live video footage from their concert at Tokyo, Japan.

I've already pre-ordered the pink 180 gram vinyl version. But that isn't going to ship until the 26th of April. I may download a song or two before then to play on my radio show.
